The music infor4R sequencer consists of three phases: Start. Study. Fusion. Each phase has an associated panel.

The program has to be run full screen, otherwise the whole panel may not come out.

The panels of the program have a structure as follows:

Action Bar : Main menu. Above, horizontal and green.

The following nomenclator is always used:

• Modifiable fields in light blue color.
• Actions: Fields in black on a white background.

Observations:

Any modification of a field must be followed by “enter” for it to take effect.
It is assumed that the /musicaV7 folder containing the application and files has been installed on the C: disk. Otherwise, the path should be modified as explained in the installation document.

FUSION PHASE
Control midi concept:

It is the midi clip on which the mergers will be made. The instruments of the control midi conserve the instant a note enters (note-on), the instant the note ends (note-off), the volume, the balance. Instruments that do not merge sound like the original clip. The instruments that are merged sound with the notes of the merged instruments but preserving the beginnings and ends of the notes of the instrument of the control midi.
In the HOME panel enter the control midi file.

The Fusion panel associated.

It consists of five parts:
a) Action bar (green color) at the top.

General modifications of the clip.

1. You can change “Scale”. Click on “Sense Canvi” and the list of “Scales” will be displayed in English notation (C: Do, D: Re, E: Mi, F: Fa, G: Sol, A: La, B: Si … and b: flat) … and a new one is selected
When you play “Fusio” the song will sound in the selected new scale.

2. We can make displacements of the “Scale”. All the notes of the selected Scale move by increasing one or more tones (from +1 to +6) or by decreasing one or more tones (from -1 to -6). Clicking in the field of a position next to the Scale displays the options from -6 to +6)

Now we do “play Fusion” and the clip will sound with the Scale shifted.

3. You can change the BPM increase or decrease from 10 to 10 (+10 and -10 keys). Or edit the field in green writing a number + enter.

Now doing “play study” will sound faster or slower depending on the BPM you enter.

Modifications at instrument level.

1. Change of instrument
Clicking on the “Instruments” option displays the instruments in a window on the left. Now you can drag an instrument over the name of the instrument to change. You can make all the changes you want except the “battery”.
Once changed by pressing the letter “i” on the name side, the instrument returns to that of the original version. Clicking on the “I” at the top of the “i” ‘s column will return all instruments to those of the original version.
Clicking on “play Fusion” will play the theme with the modified instruments.

2. Change of instrument for a merger
Clicking on the “Fusions” option from the main menu presents the melodia, harmonia, bateria folders in a window on the left. Clicking on the folders displays the corresponding midis that can be dragged to the fusion column (they are with the text “Sense Fusio”).
Once fused, pressing the letter “f” of the instrument returns to the “Sense Fusio” situation of the original version. Clicking on the “F” at the top of the “f” ‘s column changes all instruments to the “Sense Fusio” situation.

Clicking on “play Fusio” will play the theme with the modified instruments.

3. Delete instruments.
In the column of “E”. A “1” means active instrument, a “0” instrument removed.
Clicking on the “E” changes all the columns at the same time if they are in “1” they all go to “0” and if they are “0” they go to “1”.
When you click on “Play Study” only active instruments (1) sound.
If a single instrument is active you can determine if it is part of the melody or if they play chords (harmony) or if it is the battery. And if it is considered that we can use it later in the Fusion phase, we save it with the corresponding action: Save Mel, Save Har, Save Bat
By pressing “play Sel V.O.” only the active instruments sound but without changes, as they are in Original version.

4. Modify Volume and Balance
– For each instrument the volume can be increased or decreased by moving the indicator on the horizontal bar.
By pressing the button: “Volume” the volumes return to the initial position.
– For each instrument you can change the balance (the sound comes more from one side than the other) by moving the indicator on the horizontal bar
By pressing the button: “Balance” the signals return to the initial position.

5. Modify Scale and Scale Shift
As in the general case but now at the level of each instrument, the scale and the displacement of the Scale can be modified.
Pressing the “Scale” button undoes all changes.

6. Change of octaves.
Pressing +1 increases the instrument’s notes by one octave.
By pressing -1 the instrument’s notes decrease one octave.
Clicking on the +1 in the description bar increases all instruments by an octave
Pressing -1 on the description bar decreases all instruments by one octave

7. Changing bass / treble notes
Bass notes become treble and treble bass.
The transformation can be modulated with a factor of -10 to +10.

8. Modify the sequence of notes.
So they follow an inverted series. The notes sound in reverse sequence.
The investment can be modulated according to the number of notes to invest through a factor of 1 to 60. In case of 1, all the notes are inverted.

Action to save the merged and modified midi clip.

“Save Fusion” button

Each time it is pressed, a midi file is recorded in the folder “/musicaV7/fusio”, which is the clip that sounds “play Fusio”. It is recorded with the name: “F. control-midi-name.N.mid” N: 0 to X is the version. Each time the “Save Fusio” Button is pressed it increases by 1.

Projects.

We understand as a project all the information we have on the screen. It can be stored before leaving to continue later.

When we are merging a control midi file for the first time, a “Projecte” button and then “Nou Projecte” button appear under the header menu.
Pressing the “Projecte” button opens a window to edit text, where you enter all the information that can be considered appropriate. At any time you can press “Projecte” and update the information associated with the project.

The “Save Projecte” Button in the header menu creates or updates a project.

If “Nou Projecte” appears in the project name, pressing the “Save Projecte” button will create a project in the folder “/musicaV7 /projFusio” with the name: “PF.name-of-the-control-midi.N .prj “N is a number from 0 to X. If a new project is created and a previous project with the same control-midi-name already exists, version N is incremented by 1.

On the home screen, instead of dragging a midi file to “Fitxer Midi Control” you can drag a project: Click on “explorer”, drop down the folder “projFusio” and drag a project to “Fitxer Midi Control”.
